Actress Sophie Louise L. Cookson is an English national and was born in Hayworth Heath in 1990. From an early age, the girl showed the ability to play acting, so her parents decided to enroll her in vocal courses, and then took her to the studio of the local musical theater. Here she studied acting, make-up and dancing. It was a fairly versatile training that allowed the young actress to get out of the scene very quickly.
When the theater went on tour, Cookson went with the troupe to perform in Europe, Asia and Japan. She really liked this life, but Sophie felt that she lacked a special education, so she decided to enter the theater university, which she graduated in 2013.

Immediately after receiving her diploma as a theater actress, Sophie was cast in the miniseries Moonfleet. In it, she starred with partners Ray Winston, Anairin Barnard and Anthony Ofoejbu. The audience received the film with enthusiasm, the reviews were the most flattering, so in 2017 Matthew Vaughn decided to shoot a sequel to the action movie called "Kingsman: The Golden Ring".

There are a lot of comedic and parody elements in the film, and this, combined with the seriousness of the situations in which the main characters find themselves, seems very unusual. Therefore, the film has several nominations for various awards, and in 2016 it received the Russian People's Film Award "Georges" as the best film in a foreign language. This is all the more valuable since the film was judged not by critics, but by the audience.
After the first "Kingsman", Sophie began to receive offers for filming from various directors, and in 2016 she starred in the film "Snow White and the Huntsman 2", which was a sequel to the first part of this film. This beautiful costumed film won the hearts of young spectators all over the world, but adults watched it with pleasure.
Having mastered the world of big cinema, Cookson returned to television in 2017 to play the role of barista Sidney in the project "Gypsy". The main character of the series is psychotherapist Jean Halloway, played by Naomi Watts.
