Biography

The future actor was born in the fall of 1910 in the small mining village of Nizhnee, located on the territory of the present Donetsk region. He was a mischievous and fidgety, but he treated his schooling responsibly, getting only good grades.

State changes and large-scale upheavals of the revolutionary years did not particularly affect the lives of ordinary workers. Seryozha knew that he would work in the mine like his father, Vladimir Lukyanov, and was fully prepared for such a future. After school, he went to a local school, and then began to work with his father.

Even at school, the child actively performed in an amateur circle, adored classes in an amateur local theater. Having already started his career as a miner, Sergei thought about his future. And then, after consulting with his parents, he entered acting courses at the Kharkov Theater in 1929.

Career

Receiving an acting education, Sergei played on the stage of the Kharkov theater. In 1931 he moved to Moscow and first performed at MADT, and then at the famous Moscow Art Theater. In the 50s, he became entrenched in the theater. Vakhtangov and worked there until his death.

The actor received his debut film role in 1944. He talentedly played a Soviet investigator in the thrilling film "Duel", which became very popular. But fame and widespread fame came to Sergei after the appearance of the comedy "Kuban Cossacks" in 1949, where the actor played the chairman of a collective farm, a bright, carried away and dreaming of a bright future for his village. The character of Sergei practically became a hero of those years - dressed in a paramilitary uniform, an energetic and strong leader supporting his country.

Films with Lukyanov's participation were released every year, and everywhere he played the role of another memorable character, winning popular love. Big Family (1954), Kochubey (1955), Tale of Fiery Years (1960) are just a few of Lukyanov's famous works. On his account there are more than 20 memorable roles, many prestigious awards and titles.

Personal life and death

For the first time Lukyanov married in the 30s, to the ballerina Nadezhda Tyshkevich. The couple had a daughter in 1939, Tatyana Sergeevna Lukyanova, who followed in her father's footsteps and became an actress in Taganka. The actor saw his second love on the set - the screen star Klara Luchko charmed the actor and in 1951 they got married. And six years later, the acting family had a daughter, who was named Oksana.

Sergey Vladimirovich Lukyanov died on the first day of spring 1965 from an unexpected heart attack. This tragedy happened right on the stage. The actor is buried at the Novodevichy cemetery.
