  • Printing
  • Threads
  • Needle
  • Stationery glue

Instructions

Step 1

Before stitching documents, all metal inclusions (paper clips, pins) must be removed from them. This should be done very carefully.

Step 2

After removing the staples, the documents must be laid out in order and numbered from the first sheet to the last.

Step 3

If the book being stitched has sheets that have a small filing margin, it is recommended to glue a strip of paper on the left.

Step 4

Then on the left, about half of the field without text, holes are made with a needle in the amount of three to five pieces. The punctures should be located symmetrically at a distance of 3 cm and strictly vertical.

Step 5

The entire stack of documents needs to be stitched with a long needle and coarse thread. They are sewn twice, for strength, and the rest of the thread is brought out to the back side from the central hole and cut off, but about 6 cm of the free end should remain. After that, the threads are tied in a knot so that a piece of printed paper can be glued to them.

Step 6

Next, you need to seal the case with a paper sticker 4 x 6 cm with an inscription (description of documents).

Stick it in such a way that it covers the knot and part of the length of the threads, which should be free.

Step 7

The documents are certified by the head of the organization or an authorized person. The signature must be legible and legible. The seal located on the sticker, as well as the knot and threads, are filled with glue.
