Actors who went through the school of life in Soviet times are the most persistent people. Censorship, bans, commissions and repeated script approvals have hardened their spirit and helped them get past all the obstacles. And with all the difficulties, each artist was worth its weight in gold, each was a person with his own unique charm and charisma.

These words can rightfully be attributed to Anatoly Egorov, who was born and lived in a difficult time.

Biography

The date of birth of the future actor speaks for itself: October 12, 1945, the city of Leningrad. A terrible war has just died down, which has left an indelible mark on every Soviet family. The time was hungry, the country was in ruins. It was hard in the northern capital as well - the city was still "revived" after the long blockade of the Nazis.

Therefore, Anatoly's childhood was the same as that of all post-war boys: they lived from hand to mouth, but everyone was inspired by the victory and enthusiastically restored their native country. The situation was spoiled by the fact that the Stalinist repressions were still going on, and rumors about them reached the children. They lived in one commune, and the adults did not hide their anxiety from them. Then came the summer of 1953, when the so-called "thaw" came, and everything changed in people's lives.

Anatoly absorbed all these impressions, sensations, emotions like a sponge. Apparently, even then he wanted to understand how people's feelings look if they are shown from the stage. Life gradually improved and new sensations came. They remained in the memory as layered layers, in order to later be embodied in one or another stage image.

However, first it was necessary to get an education, and after graduation Anatoly entered the Leningrad Theater Institute to study dramatic art. His teacher was the famous Georgy Aleksandrovich Tovstonogov, and this says a lot. Taking over the skills and knowledge of the maestro, Anatoly became a good actor. He showed great promise, and after the institute Tovstonogov took him to his Lenin Komsomol Theater.

Career as a theater and film actor

In 1967, Yegorov graduated from LGITMiK and became a full member of the troupe of one of the most popular theaters in Leningrad. The first roles were secondary, inconspicuous, and the young actor could not prove himself in full force. However, it was the best time to gain experience - celebrities played in the theater at that time, and the theater was directed by the recognized master of stage direction Georgy Tovstonogov. A strict, but very creative and open director helped the young actor to join the troupe and feel like one of his own in the theater.

However, changes are inevitable in each team - and now Tovstonogov is being transferred to the BDT. A little later, Yegorov followed him there too. However, fate again offers him a change - he moves to Moscow. Here he will be served at the Moscow Theater of Satire. Here Egorov had to "get" another part of his nature - humorous, sarcastic, etc. After that, the Hermitage Theater opened its doors for him, then the Theater. KS Stanislavsky and others.

Each transition from theater to theater is a great challenge. You part with the familiar environment, with colleagues, with friends to whom you have already got used to. However, as one famous artist said, it is not the actor who is looking for the theater - it is the theater that calls you on to serve in it. In 1991, Anatoly Egorov called on the youth theater, which is now called "Near Stanislavsky's House" and is located on Krasnaya Presnya, in the very center of Moscow. It was not the most fun time for actors and theaters - many simply closed, and actors left the profession. However, Egorov still serves here: he plays and teaches young actors how to play so that the audience believes you.

And he has a huge experience of working in the theater - more than a hundred roles in classical, modern, experimental performances. Indeed, those who lived in the same years as Yegorov know absolutely everything about time, history and theater.

And he also knows a lot about cinema - after all, in 1967 the young actor first starred in a small role in the film "The Personal Life of Valentin Kuzyaev." He also liked this work, although there are no spectators on the set, and you do not see their response. And later, when Yegorov was offered to star in episodes in the films "Degree of Risk" (1968) and "Taste of Bread" (1971), he agreed.

The main role went to him in the film "Drama from an Ancient Life" (1971) - he created the image of the serf hairdresser Arkashka. This role made him famous. His partner on the set was the gorgeous Elena Solovey. She played the role of a serf actress who fell in love with the count's hairdresser. He reciprocated the girl and persuaded her to escape, because otherwise they would not be together.

Since those distant years, Anatoly Ivanovich has starred in almost forty films, and his every appearance on the screen was vivid and memorable.

The best films in the portfolio of the actor are considered the pictures "Casket of Maria Medici" (1980) and "Say a word about the poor hussar" (1980). The best serials were recognized as the projects "Mikhailo Lomonosov" (1984), "Death of the Empire" (2005), "Dostoevsky" (2010) and "Bad Blood" (2013). This series completed the actor's film career, but who knows what else is in store for him?

Personal life

It is not possible to find information about the actor's personal life, about his relatives. Now Egorov works in the theater, and also teaches acting at the Higher Courses of Film and Television VGIK.
