Timofey Bazhenov was born on January 25, 1976 in the family of a Moscow journalist and doctor. After school, the guy simultaneously graduated from two faculties of Moscow State University - journalism and biology, where he studied in the evening. Timofey began working as a journalist during his studies - he hosted the programs "Musical Express" and "Radio Zapovednik" on the VGTRK channel.
The guy also managed to work as a news presenter at the popular radio station "Voice of Russia" and as a special correspondent for "Radio Russia".
In 1998, Timofey was hired by the special projects department of the NTV channel, where he worked as a correspondent, administrator, prompter, editor, assistant director and director of the live broadcast. Bazhenov is the author of ten documentaries, as well as a co-author of the "Special Reportage" series, which was filmed for the "Today" program.
