Biography

Jamie was born on July 14, 1975 in a city called Enterprise, which is located in Alabama in the southern part of the United States. Since childhood, Jamie Johnson loved country music, which, of course, influenced not only the perception of the world, but also his future career. Little Jamie was especially influenced by the music of such giants as Alabama and Alan Jackson. Could Jamie then, in his distant childhood, think that he would become as famous as these groups? We are unlikely to find out.

Education

Jamie Johnson graduated from high school. Jefferson Davis. After that, the musician went to Jacksonville State University, where he became a member of the student fraternity Sigma Nu.

The college was never finished. Johnson dropped him after his sophomore year, after which he ended up in the reserve of the US Marine Corps. The musician served in a mortar position and even achieved the rank of corporal. Jamie always played his own songs for the Marines he served with. As far as we know, Johnson kept in touch with most of them for many years. Also in Jamie Johnson's first album there are songs that mention service in the Marine Corps.

In 2005, the musician signed a contract with BNA Records, with which the first single "The Dollar" was released. This single managed to gain popularity, but the next single "Rebelicious" did not make the charts, and therefore BNA Records canceled the contract with Jamie Johnson.
