Marianna's first husband was a man named Vladimir Rodovansky. The wedding took place when the girl was only 19 years old. She decided to take such a step, first of all, under the influence of her parents, who were sharply negative about the idea of young people living together, did not approve of the format of civil marriage. However, in the end, the relationship with Vladimir ended and the couple divorced.

After Marianna met Viktor Tsoi, a romantic relationship gradually began to take shape between them. Simultaneously with the development of her romance with a rock musician, Marianna began to promote the Kino group. She worked as a producer and administrator, made arrangements for the band's performances, resolved financial issues, and so on. Much later, Marianne was frank, saying that she was acutely sorry for the time spent. Despite her interest in music and art, her love for Tsoi, Marianna always wanted to pursue her life, develop, get a higher education.

In 1984, Marianna officially became the wife of Viktor Tsoi and took his last name. They lived in marriage until the musician's death; however, in the last years of Tsoi's life, their relationship was already conditional: Tsoi had a new romantic affection and in 1987 he left the family. The couple never divorced. In the marriage of Victor and Marianne, a son was born, who was named Alexander. However, today there are rumors that the child was not at all from Victor, but from the next - already civilian - husband of Marianne, with whom she lived until the end of her life.

When Marianna Tsoi was already well over thirty years old, she entered St. Petersburg State University. After some time, she graduated with a specialist diploma, graduating from the Faculty of Oriental Studies. It happened in 1999. In the same period of time, in addition to mastering the Japanese language, Marianna Tsoi independently learned English, began working as a translator, and returned to her passion from her youth - to drawing.

Marianne owned half of the copyright for the music, lyrics and albums of the Kino group. After Viktor's death, when the collective eventually ceased to exist, Marianna Tsoi was engaged in publishing previously unreleased Kino tracks, directed the KINO Probes project, wrote two books about Viktor, and also starred in several documentaries about Tsoi and the Kino group.

Recent years and death

Several years before her death, Marianna was again engaged in production activities, working with the rock group "Object of ridicule" and specifically promoting her common-law spouse named Alexander "Ricochet" Aksenov. She also worked with such musicians as Sergei Elgazin, Alexander Zaslavsky.

With her third, albeit unofficial, husband, Marianne lived until her death.

Marianna Tsoi died in 2005, on June 27. Prior to that, she had been fighting cancer for seven years. Initially, Marianne was diagnosed with breast cancer and decided to undergo surgery. However, a little later, a new terrible diagnosis was made - a brain tumor.

Marianna Tsoi was buried in St. Petersburg, at the Theological cemetery. Her grave is located not far from the grave of Viktor Tsoi.
