Evgeny Anatolyevich Kryzhanovsky cannot imagine his life without humor. He headed the theater of satire and humor "Christopher" in Minsk. He has more than 40 film roles in which he starred. Biography
Evgeny Kryzhanovsky was born in 1955 in the Ukrainian city of Nikolaev. His father was a military man, served in the naval aviation. Then father Eugene was transferred to the city of Kozelsk, Kaluga region, where the future artist spent his childhood and youth.
Evgenia's mother, Ekaterina Grigorievna, took part in amateur performances in the military town where the Kryzhanovsky family lived. From her, the boy inherited artistic abilities.
As a child, Eugene dreamed of becoming a sailor, like his father. He decided to enter the nautical school. When the boy was in the fifth grade, his eyesight deteriorated slightly. Evgeny's dream about the profession of a sailor was not destined to come true. He was not admitted to the nautical school.
During his school years, studying in high school, Eugene loved to travel to Tula. This city is located near Kozelsk, only 160 km away. Tula attracted the young man with cultural objects: theaters, museums, exhibitions.
Once he was at a performance of the Tula theater named after. A. M. Gorky. Performance based on the play by A. N. Ostrovsky's "Warm Heart" made a huge impression on Eugene. This theatrical performance turned the inner world of the young spectator upside down. The young man began to dream of theater. In Kozelsk, he began to attend the drama club at the House of Officers.
After graduating from school in 1972, he went to Moscow to enter the theater school, but could not pass the competitive exams.
In 1973, Evgeny Kryzhanovsky tried to enter GITIS (State Institute of Theater Arts named after A. V. Lunacharsky), but to no avail. The great desire of the young man to become an artist made him try his hand at entering theater universities in other cities of the country. Attempts were made to pass exams to theater institutes in Yekaterinburg and Leningrad, but they also proved to be unsuccessful.
Thanks to his personal qualities, such as perseverance and dedication, Eugene achieved his goal. In 1973 he successfully passed the exams in Minsk. Yevgeny Kryzhanovsky became a student of the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute (BTHI).
Studying at the institute was easy for Eugene. In his senior year, he had excellent grades in all disciplines. In educational performances, he was especially good at the roles of fascists and policemen, as well as negative characters: drunkards, brawlers and scoundrels.
After graduating from the institute, Yevgeny Kryzhanovsky began to work at the Academic Theater named after. Yanka Kupala at the invitation of the chief director of the theater V. N. Raevsky.
While working in the theater, the actor distinguished himself by creating sharp humorous images of his characters. The skits in which he took part were also proof that the artist's vocation is humor.

In 2007, Kryzhanovsky joined the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus. In 2008, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of the Republic of Belarus.
From 2015 to the present, Yevgeny Kryzhanovsky is the artistic director of the children's television project "Humorinka" on Belarusian television. This project is called the Belarusian "Yeralash".
He directs the "Yevgeny Kryzhanovsky Cinema Center", in which the shooting of the children's humorous series "Fun of the 13th School" takes place. At the Cinema Center, children are taught acting and the basics of filming.
Creation

The theater of satire and humor "Christopher" took part in competitions and festivals. In 1988, with the number "Piggy", he became a laureate of the "Competition of Political Satire", which was held at the Moscow Variety Theater. At the All-Union Contest of Spoken Variety Artists in Kislovodsk, Yevgeny Kryzhanovsky was awarded the first prize.
The performances of the "Christopher" theater took place not only in Belarus, but also abroad. The theater troupe went on tour to Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, United Arab Emirates, USA, Spain. The spectators were Soviet tourists, embassy staff, and sometimes foreigners. In 1998, Yevgeny Kryzhanovsky wrote the book "With Christaphor in his bosom." It was sold with great success among Belarusian readers.

Personal life
Evgeny Anatolyevich is married for the fifth time. He always chose women of creative professions as his wife. On holidays, they all get together at the dacha, which is located near the city of Zaslavl, Minsk region.

Currently, Evgeny's wife is Anna, who is 20 years younger than him. When the future spouses met, the girl was 19 years old, and Eugene was 42 years old. Anna supports her husband in everything, provides family comfort, and is engaged in raising their daughter. She is the director of the Evgeny Kryzhanovsky Cinema Center.
The actor has four children from all marriages, all daughters. The eldest daughter is a journalist by profession. She lives in Germany, works on radio. His second daughter works as a photographer.
