History
In the 30s of the last century, the first airborne units appeared in the USSR, which shocked foreign experts with their preparation and the complexity of the maneuvers performed. In response, the United States began to organize its troops.
The revival of the airborne units began twenty years later. The appearance of an airborne combat vehicle belongs to a historical moment. This technique was parachuted from the air. In 198, it was our country that succeeded in the invasion of Czechoslovakia, since all tasks were entrusted to such units. At this time, the blue beret appeared, to this day is an invariable attribute of the Airborne Forces.
The goals and objectives of the special forces
The special forces are solving the main task - to quickly and silently eliminate the enemy. For this, the most important points of the enemy are hit. This reduces the risk of resistance and allows quick results.
The special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces is considered the most popular unit. Only the best candidates who have passed a rigorous selection are included in it. Regular training, in terms of its tension and complexity, can shock any layman.
Real operations involving such units usually cannot be read from the media. During operations, you can see any uniform on them. Be sure to wear an emblem with the image of the globe. It means that fighters can act anywhere on our planet.
The main tasks of the army special forces:
- organization and conduct of intelligence activities;
- destruction of nuclear weapons;
- identification of military formations;
- conducting operations behind enemy lines;

Admission to the ranks of the army special forces and training
Applicants must be in impeccable health. You may not differ in impressive dimensions, but be sure to be hardy. During the raid, the scouts can cover tens of kilometers, carrying kilograms of weapons, ammunition and ammunition.
Upon admission, you must pass an exam. For this you need:
- run a distance of 3 km in 10 minutes, 100 meters in 12 seconds;
- pull yourself up at least 25 times;
- Push up 90 times from the floor;
- do 90 abs exercises in 2 minutes.
A thorough medical examination of candidates is mandatory. Attention is also paid to psychological factors. Fighters must be stress-resistant, resilient and able to make the right decisions in any environment. If this stage is passed, a polygraph test is carried out. Special forces training takes place with the participation of experienced instructors. It includes:

There are several main divisions, each with its own tasks.
Marines
It is not very numerous, but without it, some manipulations are impossible. The roots of the Marine Corps go back to the reign of Peter I, who established the first regiment in 1705. The selection of candidates is stricter than those for the Airborne Forces. The commandos wear black berets.
Airborne forces
An independent branch of the armed forces, designed to cover the enemy by air. The main delivery method is parachuting or landing. Units can also be delivered by helicopter. They are the reserve of the Supreme High Command.
Office "A", group "Alpha"
The main goal is to conduct urban anti-terrorist operations under the control of the political leadership of Russia. Office "B", group "Vympel"
Created in 1981, it was the most famous military intelligence unit of the KGB of the USSR. Today, most of the composition is represented by people from counterintelligence.
