The army does not take citizens who have certain grounds for exemption from conscription. As the indicated grounds, the law determines the state of health, the presence of close relatives who have died in military service, a criminal record and some other circumstances.
Instructions
Step 1
The reasons for exemption from conscript military service are listed in the Federal Law "On conscription and military service". Based on the provisions of this normative act, several categories of citizens can be distinguished that are not subject to conscription. At the same time, exemption from the army should not be confused with a postponement, since the presence of a postponement does not exclude further conscription.
Step 2
It should be borne in mind that those citizens who have reached the statutory age, exempting them from the corresponding duty, are not called up for military service. So, after reaching twenty-seven years of age, a citizen is not allowed to call. In addition, it is illegal to carry out any recruiting activities with those persons who have not reached the age of eighteen.
Step 3
One of the main reasons for complete exemption from the army is considered to be unfit, partially fit for service due to poor health. At the same time, the establishment of these particular categories of suitability is of decisive importance, since those recruits who are assigned the category "temporarily unfit" receive only a short reprieve. Also, those persons who have already served are not called up, and in some cases the fulfillment of military service in another state may be counted.
Step 4
A separate reason for excluding the performance of military duties is the presence of an academic degree. That is why candidates of sciences, doctors of sciences are not drafted into the army, and the sphere of their activity does not matter. Family ties may also affect the conscription decision, since the law specifically prohibits the conscription of the sons and siblings of those military personnel who died, died in the line of military duty, received an injury or an illness that subsequently led to their death.
Step 5
In addition, those citizens who have a criminal record are not called up for military service. In this case, the conviction must be unexpunged, outstanding, received due to the commission of any crime. This category also includes those citizens of draft age who are serving a sentence expressed in correctional labor, arrest, imprisonment, compulsory labor, restriction of freedom. Finally, suspects, accused persons, that is, persons in respect of whom the procedures of preliminary investigation and inquiry are being carried out, are not called into the army.
