The future journalist was born on November 1, 1953 in Moscow. His surname comes from the name of the town of Radzihos, which is located in Eastern Poland.

In childhood, Leonid had to face anti-Semitism. He carefully concealed his Jewish origin and all the time waited for someone to offend him. Now Radzikhovsky admits that his fears were overly exaggerated: he faced only a couple of times in the true manifestation of anti-Semitism.

Radzikhovsky went to the most ordinary school, and then transferred to an elite educational institution in the south-west of the capital.

Leonid's parents were microbiologists. The father convinced the young man after graduation to go to study at the biology department. But Leonid found this prospect very difficult. Therefore, I chose psychology for myself. However, studying at the Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University did not arouse particular interest in Radzikhovsky. He was more interested in history and journalism.

Career and work of Leonid Radzikhovsky

In 1975, Leonid received a diploma, after which he worked at the Research Institute of Psychology of the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences. Four years later, he became a candidate of sciences. Radzikhovsky is the author of several dozen works on the history of psychology. He took part in the preparation for publication of the multivolume collected works of Vygotsky.

However, Leonid Alexandrovich was not sure of the right choice of profession. He was offered to start working on his doctoral dissertation, but the thought of it terrified him.

Being engaged in scientific work, Radzikhovsky began to publish articles on psychology in the "Uchitelskaya Gazeta". His publications were successful. Soon Leonid's works began to appear in other publications: in "Courants", "Stolitsa", "Moscow News". Radzikhovsky wrote well, his articles immediately became popular.

In the early 90s, Radzikhovsky began working as a political observer on Channel One. A little later he was invited to collaborate on the same topic on the radio "Echo of Moscow". In the same period, Radzikhovsky became a deputy of the State Duma, where he became a member of the "Russia's Choice" faction.

In December 1995, Leonid Aleksandrovich became a political columnist for Ogonyok. Gradually, he earns himself a reputation as a political strategist. He participated in drawing up the program of Alexander Lebed when he ran for the highest state office in the country.

Currently Leonid Radzikhovsky is a freelance journalist. He himself chooses with whom to cooperate in the field of journalism. The journalist has columns in several publications at once. It can be heard on radio "Echo of Moscow" and "Svoboda".

Radzikhovsky considers himself a believer, but does not adhere to any confession. He calls his views liberal. He does not like to talk about his personal life and family. Raises a son.
