Mikha Mevlja is a native of a small town in Slovenia, located near Italy. Was born in 1990. The footballer himself calls his home a small village, in which the athlete's football biography began. At the age of 12, Mevlja moved to the football academy of the famous Slovenian club Gorica. He combined sports with studies at school with an economic bias. In 2009, Mikha Mevli's sports career began in adult clubs. The first club for the player was the team that brought up the talented football player. In Gorica, Mevlya played as a midfielder. According to the footballer himself, only the last few years of his career has he entered the field as a defender.
Mikha Mevlja spent four full seasons in Slovenian Gorica. He played in more than a hundred matches, having managed to score five goals.
Scouts from other European clubs often show interest in footballers from the Balkan countries. The first to invite Mevlu to play as a legionnaire were the Swiss. In 2013, being a free agent, Micha Mevlja moved to the famous Swiss club Lausanne. In the team, the footballer spent one full season, playing thirty matches and hitting the opponent's goal once.
