Biography
Michael Mann was born on February 5, 1943 in Chicago. He has Jewish roots. Michael's parents ran a grocery store. The father of the future director was a native of Russia. Mann's youthful hobbies include the blues. He studied English and was educated at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Michael was interested in geology, history and architecture.
