Childhood and youth
Lyudmila Narusova was born in 1951. The acquaintance of her parents took place at the very end of the war in Germany. My father headed the security platoon of the Military Commandant's Office, my mother worked as a translator. Their romance ended with a wedding, then the young people settled with relatives in Bryansk. Boris Moiseevich received a defectological education and headed a school for the deaf, Valentina Vladimirovna took up the duties of director of a cinema.
After receiving secondary education, Luda began to work in the evening school, which was led by her father. Two years later, the girl became a student at the Faculty of History at Leningrad University. The result of the postgraduate studies was the defense of a Ph. D. thesis. In 1978, the graduate began teaching students, first at the alma mater, then at the University of Culture and Arts.

The period of active social activity of Narusova began after she became the wife of Anatoly Sobchak. Wishing to support her husband, she supported all his endeavors. As part of a charitable foundation, her main job was to open hospices. Together with the Mariinsky Fund, Lyudmila worked on the issue of transferring the arrest of the shot family of the last Russian tsar.
Politics
In 1995, a period began in the biography of Narusova where she showed herself as a competent politician. Lyudmila Borisovna has considerable experience in television work. In 2000, viewers of St. Petersburg television watched with interest the development of events in the Freedom of Speech program, hosted by Narusova.
