Russian musician Roman Chernitsyn has been striving for his success for many years. In life, he had to deal with a variety of things, but he always considered music to be the main thing. The hits of the PLAZMA group, whose face was Roman, graced domestic charts for a long time. Chernitsyn performs most of his songs in English.
From the biography of Roman Vladislavovich Chernitsyn
The future musician and composer was born in Volgograd on November 7, 1972. Since childhood, Roman's hobbies were music and cars: he knew many brands of cars by heart. In 1988, the young man met the team of Andrei Tryasuchev, where Maxim Postelny, his future partner in the PLAZMA group, also worked.
Once Roman tried to hum an excerpt from the composition of the famous duo Modern Talking, imitating the voice of Thomas Anders. The performance of the melody made an impression on the band members. Soon Roman was recruited. It was from that moment that Roman realized that he would become involved in music.
Roman Chernitsyn's career
However, after a while the musical group broke up. There were only three left: Roman, Maxim and guitarist Nikolai Romanov, who soon also left the project. Chernitsyn managed to record several songs, after which there was a break in his musical career. The reason turned out to be commonplace - a lack of livelihoods.
In search of a source of income, Roman went to work for the Spetsenergoremont enterprise, which served power plants. Once a cassette with Chernitsyn's vocals was listened to by entrepreneur Sergei Oleinik, who agreed to finance the musicians. It was decided to revive the group. Roman left the factory, Maxim Postelny joined him. The revived Slow Motion team was produced by Anatoly Abolikhin, who had experience working with Dmitry Malikov. In 1993 the duo recorded four compositions.
After some time, Roman was offered to work with Casus Belli, from where Nikolai Kurpatin left. Chernitsyn agreed. The result of the collaboration was the album "Woe to the Vanquished". The appearance of Chernitsyn as the vocalist of a rock band was unexpected. Two songs of the album were performed in Russian.
In 1999, the duo began working with Dmitry Malikov, who suggested thinking about a more sonorous name for the group. This is how PLAZMA was born. A breakthrough on a national scale for the collective was the composition Take My Love, which for a long time held the first places in the charts. A video was shot for the song.
In the following years, the musicians experimented a lot with the group's line-up and repertoire. And yet Roman decided to perform songs in English.
Personal life of Roman Chernitsyn
Chernitsyn was married for several years. The singer Irina Dubtsova became his wife. In 2006, the couple had a son, Artem. The marriage was not very strong, after three years of marriage, the young people broke up. However, Roman takes an active part in raising his son. He also maintains a good relationship with his ex-wife. In an interview, Dubtsova called Roman her closest friend.
