Roman Neustadter is a footballer of the Turkish club "Fenerbahce" and the national team of Russia, who replaced several football clubs and two national teams by the age of thirty.
Biography
The future midfielder was born in the winter of 1988 in the Ukrainian SSR, in the city of Dnepropetrovsk. Roman's father was a player at the local Dnipro. Neustädter's childhood passed with his grandparents in Kyrgyzstan. In 1991, his father moved to play in Germany, and Roman left with him.
Career
The first youth team of the midfielder was Mainz, and Roman is a graduate of this team. Between 2006 and 2008, Neustädter played in the second team of Mainz. In 2008, the future famous athlete made his debut in the main team, which at that time was playing in the second-strongest German division.
For the first time, Roman managed to play in the elite German division in the summer of 2009, as part of Borussia from Mönchengladbach, with which he had previously signed a contract. In the 2011 season, the midfielder became the real leader of the team and attracted the attention of the giants of German football. Before Euro 2012, there were rumors that Roman would take Ukrainian citizenship and play for the national team, but this did not happen.
In the summer of 2012, Roman moved to Schalke 04 in Gelsenkirchen. The midfielder immediately became a player in the team's starting clip, and in the fall he made his debut in the fights of the main European club tournament of the Champions League. Having shown a confident game for the Cobalts, Roman attracted the attention of the coaching staff of the German national team.
The first game of the midfielder for the national team took place in the fall of 2012, but Roman did not succeed in gaining a foothold in the composition of the German national team, Neustädter had two fights in total. It is worth mentioning that in the future Roman took Russian citizenship and began to play for the national team. In 2016, Roman went to Euro as part of the Russian national team, but, like the whole team, he failed in the tournament.
Immediately after the Euro there were persistent rumors that the clubs of the elite Russian division were interested in Roman, but Neustädter decided to move to the Turkish championship, to Fenerbahce from Istanbul. The midfielder has already played 49 matches for the Istanbul team and scored three effective strikes. As part of Fenerbahce, Roman won silver and bronze medals in the domestic championship.
In 2018, Roman was not included in the final application of the Russian national team for the home Mundial. After the world championship, the coaching staff of the national team continued to call Neustädter under their banners, and in the fall of this year the midfielder scored his debut goal in the League of Nations duel against the Turkish national team. In total, Roman Neustädter has already had ten fights in the Russian national team jersey.
Personal life
Neustädter has a girlfriend, Mona, they have been together for a long time and officially became a family quite recently. And on September 5, 2018, they had a child, the son of Chico Zane.
