Biography

Varvara Sergeevna Vizbor was born on February 18, 1986 in Moscow. The singer's grandfather and grandmother are the legendary Soviet bard and poet Yuri Vizbor and the talented singer of bard songs, poet and writer Ada Yakusheva.

Since childhood, the girl was surrounded by creative and talented personalities. In addition, everyone notes the amazing external similarity of Barbara with her grandmother. Varvara's mother, Tatyana Vizbor, works as a television and radio journalist. At the family council, it was decided that the daughter would take the surname of her grandfather and mother - Vizbor. So a talented girl will be able to continue the glorious history of this family.

Even at school age, Varvara's musical and acting inclinations were clearly manifested. Her parents took her to a theater studio. However, at the end of school, the girl could not enter VGIK the first time and became a student at the Shchukin Theater School only the next year.

Vizbor studied with pleasure and graduated with honors. First, Varvara decided to stay in the teaching position and entered the department. However, after 2 years, the attraction to the stage turned out to be stronger, and the girl went to work in the theater.

Career in theater

The beginning artist liked the live communication with the audience more. She loved to dance and sing. However, work in the theater "School of Modern Play" soon disappointed the young actress. She really missed the musical component: songs and dances. Varvara realized for herself that the dramatic actor is somewhat limited in the means of self-expression.

Therefore, soon Varvara Vizbor moved to work at the Moscow Theater of Miniatures ("Teatrium on Serpukhovka"). After an interview with the artistic director of the theater Teresa Durova, the young artist realized that she had gotten to the place where it would be interesting and comfortable for her to work. And so it happened. It was in this eccentric theater, saturated with freedom and creativity, where each production was extremely dynamic and musical, that Varvara found her place and her roles.

The artist successfully debuted in several productions at once. Varvara herself considers her starring role to be Fun in the musical "The Flying Ship". She also played in the performances "Bye-bye, Khrapelkin!", "Fire", "Dragon", "Clownzert. Adventures in the city of I”and many others.

Musical career

Despite the comfortable work in the "Teatrium on Serpukhovka", over time, the desire to become a singer prevailed over the actress. While still a student, the girl met jazz musicians Zhenya Borets and Sergey Khutas. This is how their joint project called "VizborV. S. Hutas" was born.

The talented musicians worked together for 5 years and released the album "Strawberry". It includes songs that reflect love for the land, for Russian roots and the Russian spirit. However, there are not only folk, but also jazz and even in some places avant-garde motives.

The authors of the poems of the performed compositions belong to different eras, but they are all connected by a common mood. Included in the album and songs of the legendary Yuri Vizbor.

Another musical project of the girl called "Magic Fruit" was a joint work with the talented composer Mikhail Maksimov. It is curious that Vladimir Presnyakov Sr., Peter Termen, Alizbar and others participated in the recording of the album. The poetry of the modern poetess Anna Retyum breathed life into the project. The album was very warmly received by fans of the work of Varvara Vizbor.

In September 2015, Varvara Vizbor took part in the television show "The Voice". In blind listening, she sang the surprisingly touching and tender song "Winter", written by her grandfather. The audience in the hall listened with trepidation to the singer's voice, but when she finished singing, none of the four members of the jury turned to Varvara. And although the girl did not enter the project and did not become its participant, the audience gave her a standing ovation.

And it was after such a failure that Varvara Vizbor gained immense popularity in the country, even more than some of the past participants. The performer herself took her defeat hard and even in her hearts promised that she would no longer make any attempts to participate in such shows.

But at the same time, she was surprised to admit that the "Voice" lifted her to an unprecedented wave of popularity and recognition among a wide audience. Thousands of fans of the singer's talent write to her on social networks warm words of support and admiration for her performance.

Personal life

The personal life of Varvara Vizbor is closed from the press, she does not share it on social networks either. Therefore, it is almost impossible to find out the name of her husband. It is only known for certain that the artist is indeed officially married. The girl herself admits that she protects information about her family and loved one. So far, there are no children in the family of Varvara Vizbor, but plans to expand the family are maturing.
