Indian actor Tiger Shroff is the second generation of actors in the dynasty. His father Jackie Shroff is one of the famous Bollywood actors. He was one of the first to create images of superheroes on the screen, and his son dreamed of being like him since childhood. Now the young actor performs all the complex stunts in films himself - his dream has come true.
Biography
The actor's real name is Jai Hemant, and Tiger is his pseudonym. The actor was born in Bombay in 1990. His mother Ayesha Dutt was a model, and then her husband attracted her to work in films, and she became a producer. Therefore, the very fate of Tiger was destined to become an actor.
Shroff Jr. was educated at the American School, where they taught theatrical arts. He was very fond of dancing and sports and was glad to devote himself to these pursuits, but the family tradition won out. However, he still received a fifth-degree black belt in taekwondo.
Film career
Tiger made his film debut with a role in The Right to Love. In this tape, he played with the young actress Kriti Sanon. They made a wonderful duet, and for this work Shroff received the Indian Filmfare Awards, and was also noted in the category "Best Debut of the Year".
This success did not infect Tiger with star fever. On the contrary, the actor began to carefully choose his roles so as not to disappoint the audience. Therefore, the next role he gets only two years later. But what a role! In the action movie "Rebel" (2016), Shroff showed everything he was capable of in terms of acting and sports training.
His efforts were not in vain: the film was watched all over the world, the hero of Tiger charmed the audience, and the box office exceeded nineteen million dollars. Critics compared the role of Shroff to the performance of Jackie Chan - the same expression, pressure and a sense of justice were felt in his hero.
In the same year, the actor starred in the film Flying Jatt, where he creates the image of a superhero and thereby fulfills his childhood dream. The film turned out to be good, but it was made completely according to Western templates, so it did not have much success. The audience also did not express great enthusiasm about the plot - they liked only the very idea of a cowardly superhero.
However, failures do not bother Shroff, because he has several trump cards in stock. One of them is the ability to dance. He has starred in music videos and participated in the 2016 Miss India beauty pageant entertainment program.
Dancing also came in handy in movies: in 2017, the movie "Munna Michael" was released, where Tiger played a devoted fan of Michael Jackson. The hope that the famous director Sabir Khan would make a quality film did not materialize, and this film was also not successful.
However, the actor had a great opportunity to star in a film that would fully reveal his potential, and he took advantage of it: in 2018, the film Rebel-2 was released, which viewers and critics recognized as successful.
Personal life
Tiger Shroff is actively involved in sports in his free time, continues to train dance skills.
The actor is not yet married, but is officially dating actress Disha Patani. They met during the filming of the video, then once again collided on the set of the second "Rebel", and they began an affair.
