Bjork Gudmundsdottir (full name of the singer) was born in 1965 in the city of Reykjavik. After her birth, her parents divorced, and her mother married the former guitarist of the group "Pops". Since childhood, Bjork began to study vocals professionally, in addition, she attended classes on playing the flute and piano at the local music school. At one of the concerts, the girl sang Tina Charles's song "I Love To Love" and her teachers sent the recording to "Radio One" (Iceland's national radio).
