Tax arrears can lead to serious problems, but finding out about them can be difficult. The Public Services Portal can greatly facilitate the task, however, preliminary preparation will have to be done.

Step 1
First, register on the website gosuslugi.ru. To do this, you will need to enter your mobile phone number, first and last name. After that, click on the "Register" button. You should receive a message on your phone containing a confirmation code. Please note that your number will only be used for notification and identification purposes. At the end, enter the appropriate password twice and click on "Save".
Step 2
Next, you need to go through the identity verification procedure. The more information you fill in the "Registration data" field, the more various services on the website of the State Service will be available to you. Then a letter will be sent to your mail, the code from which will serve as proof of identity. An alternative to this method is registration at one of the proposed service centers (many times faster).
Step 3
To find out the tax arrears through the State Services, you need SNILS and the password that you entered in the first step. Then go to the page https://epgu.gosuslugi.ru/pgu/service/10002691751_99.html and select "Get a service". Please note that this service may vary in different regions. As a result of the option you have chosen, either by mail or directly on the site, information about your tax debts will be available to you.
