Biography
Vladimir Alekseevich Tolokonnikov was born in Alma-Ata at that time in the Kazakh SSR in 1943 on June 25. When the war was going on, the soldiers were recovering from wounds in hospitals in Kazakhstan, one of them became the father of the future actor. After a full recovery, the man went to war again, and little Vladimir never saw his father. His mother raised him alone, however, he never heard a bad word addressed to his father.
From early childhood, Vladimir was a very talented boy, he drew well and even thought about connecting his life with painting. But inspired by the exploits of Soviet pilots, he dreamed of becoming a pilot. By the end of school, Vladimir finally decided on his future, he decided to become an artist. Moreover, you can play anyone on the stage - both a courageous front-line pilot and an intelligent artist.
Despite the talent and a great desire to play on stage, great difficulties arose with admission to theatrical universities. Several attempts were unsuccessful, a member of one of the admissions commissions added oil - according to him, Vladimir had a very specific appearance, which prevented his admission. Nevertheless, the future artist was not discouraged. Before the army, he managed to work in the youth studio of Pomerantsev, several times appeared on local television. In the army, he also actively participated in amateur performances.
Career
After demobilization, Vladimir did not abandon his dream and again went to Moscow. But the guy was waiting for another disappointment. Then he went to Samara, where he performed at the local theater for a whole year. Finally, he was lucky and he was able to enter the theater school in the city of Yaroslavl. Having successfully graduated from an educational institution, he returned to his native Alma-ata, where he was admitted to the largest theater in Kazakhstan.
His film debut was a cameo role in the film "The Last Transition", filmed in 1981. The famous role of Sharikov in the comedy "Heart of a Dog" by V. Bortko brought national recognition to the artist. The film was based on the story of the same name by Mikhail Bulgakov. From that moment on, his specific appearance only played into his hands, he was invited to many famous paintings. One of the most successful films of our time with Tolokonnikov in the title role can be considered the comedy "Hottabych", a modernized version of the tale of the Soviet writer L. Lagin.
Personal life and death
Vladimir Tolokonnikov had a wife, Nadezhda, with whom he lived all his life. In 2013, Nadezhda tragically passed away. For a life together, they raised two sons, one of whom followed in the footsteps of his father and also became an actor.
The last film of the actor was the second part of the film "Super Bobrovy". After filming, Vladimir returned to Moscow, where on July 15 he died of heart failure. Despite the terrible diagnosis, the artist continued to work until the very last day of his life.
