Informal Alexander Laertsky does not rank himself among the great musicians, but hopes to leave his mark on art. The author was ordered to go to central television due to the abundance of profanity and strange plots of songs, but one cannot deny the people's love to which his work is doomed.
The beginning of the way
Alexander was born in 1964 in Moscow. The real surname of the musician is Uvarov, but contrary to existing traditions, having started a family, he decided to take his wife's surname.
At the very beginning of his biography, Alexander was engaged in ornithology, studied mountain birds and hummingbirds. He always considered them amazing creatures and believed that communication with animals makes people kinder.
Alexander became interested in music at school. While working at the Research Institute as an electronic technician, Laertsky and his friends created a group called "Hairy Glass". This happened in 1987. The guys recorded 3 albums that were not intended for the general public: "Kobzonoid", "Rastut Rebiata Patriotami" and "Knowledge Day". In the same period, the artist's solo album "Midnight Blues" appeared. The songs were rewritten on audio cassettes and distributed among music lovers. Life-affirming hits "Children bury a horse", "Tits in the test", "An iron stick sticking out in the stomach", "Young Komsomol member" immediately became popular among teenagers, they were attracted by swearing and texts in the style of black humor.
Music
The first steps were followed by the continuation of a creative career. The magnetic albums "Pioneer Dawn" and "Milkers of Exhausted Toads" have appeared. They were recorded in the studio, the lyrics and music were written by Alexander Laertsky. The collections were included in a hundred magnetic albums of Soviet rock and were reissued in 1996.
The musician almost never performed live, and this fueled interest in his person, his name was overgrown with myths and fictions. Alexander released albums regularly, first in the "samizdat" format, then officially. In total, he has created 17 albums and CDs. From collection to collection his favorite song "The Commander of the Village Post" wandered around.
In the 90s, the performer assembled the "Laerti-Band" team, which began to accompany him. The band included musicians with academic education, and the head of the band himself became interested in reggae rhythms and showed great interest in arrangements. The performances of the group took place in the Moscow rock clubs "Bunker" and "Do not hit with a hoof".
In 1996, most of Laertsky's albums were reissued. In this he was helped by the studio "Elias", which the musician considered "not zazhrat and not major." The artist's anthology fits on 10 cassettes. The author recorded the subsequent albums in his own studio.
Movie
The musician starred in 4 films. With the role of Ilyin, he made his debut in the modern film "Ordinary Days" (2001). This was followed by the detective story "Grim" (2009), in which Alexander created the image of the leader of a criminal gang. Pictures "Star Pile" (2011) and "Jah's Territory" (2014) transported the heroes to the distant future of the Earth and told about the invasion of aliens. In the last tape, Laertsky played one of the main roles of the President of the Galaxy.
Radio
In 1993, the performer began to conduct an hour-long program "Curfew" at the Ekho Moskvy station, which aired once a week after midnight. Works with profanity performed by Laertsky were first heard on the radio. The audience liked the charismatic presenter incredibly. Soon the program became known as "Montmorency" and was held all night from Saturday to Sunday. A few years later, a similar program appeared on the Silver Rain radio.
How does he live today
In 2011, Alexander suffered a stroke. Money for his rehabilitation was collected throughout the country. For several years now, the famous musician has not published new albums and rarely gives concerts. He writes children's books and travels a lot around the world, and in one of his interviews he said that he "does not want to grow up" at all.
The secret of his talent and attractiveness lies in the fact that a great philosophical meaning is hidden under the grotesque blackness. Outwardly sad and a little insecure, the musician is actually a kind, charming and wise person.
