From childhood to theater
R. Plyatt was born in Rostov-on-Don in the family of a Russianized Pole Ivan Plyata, who was a famous lawyer, and a native of Poltava Zinaida Zakamennaya on December 13, 1908. Due to the mother's illness, the family had to move to Kislovodsk. This did not delay her death much, and after the funeral, the family moved to Moscow. Several years passed, and the boy's father married Anna Volikovskaya, who was able to replace the boy's mother. During his school years, the boy participated in the drama club, under the leadership of Lebedev. The theater, the stage were Rostislav's dream. A lucky chance helped the boy to visit the Moscow Art Theater from the service entrance. The actors turned to their father as a lawyer for help. The deal was completed successfully, and part of the boy's dream was realized. True, he was allowed in the Tatra only behind the scenes and was not taken into the group. But it was there that R. Plyatt received advice to enter the studio of director Zavadsky.
Actor career
After the courses, Yuri Zavadsky took Plyatt to his group, and in 1927 Rostislav entered the stage as an actor. By the way, the stage name was invented when I got my passport. The letter "t" was added to the surname and the patronymic was changed to Yanovich. After the reorganization of theatrical groups in 1936, together with Zavadsky, he moved to Rostov-on-Don. There, new facets of his talent were revealed. The actor honed his skills and received a powerful impetus for the growth of creativity. In Rostov, he tried himself in dramatic roles. In 1938, Rostislav Plyatt returned to Moscow, where he remained during the war years and performed in Moscow theaters. The actor served at the Mossovet Theater for the last 40 years of his career. He was repeatedly offered to become a director, to stage theatrical performances, he was offered a department, he remained faithful to the theatrical stage.
Personal life of Rostislav Plyatt
The actor's personal life was not cloudless and happy. His first wife was the actress Nina Butova. She was much older than Rostislav and refused to do housework.
