We have decided on the necessary books - their place on the shelf. But what about the rest? Not to waste paper! The first thing that comes to mind is to sell them. But you shouldn't run to the flea market. Books can be sold in a more civilized way. On the internet, you will find tons of online stores that sell used books. If the number of unnecessary books exceeds a hundred, it makes sense to add them to the virtual showcase and sell them. Book prices vary. If the book is in good condition, then it can be sold even at the “store” price.

If it seems to you that selling over the Internet is long, troublesome and unprofitable, you can look for a store in your city under the magical name "Bookseller". This is the same basement (or luxury store, it all depends on the budget, but more often the basement) where used books are sold. You can advertise in the newspaper. Perhaps there are collectors looking for just such a book. Or some poor family will gladly buy Griboyedov from you for 50 rubles - you will still have to read according to the school curriculum, but in the store it is expensive.

Surely you have a literary cafe or reading club in your city. There is a chance to sell them some books or exchange them for others that are more interesting to you.

Oddly enough, books can be returned to the library. Again, on mutually beneficial terms: you can get some books or magazines from them in return, or some services, for example, free Internet access for a certain number of hours.
