If it interests the people conducting the selection, you will be contacted and told what to do next. Most likely, you will have an English proficiency test and an interview.
If, based on the results of all selection stages, they decide to make you a volunteer, they will provide you with a list of responsibilities that you will need to perform during the Olympic Games. They directly depend on your education, talents, type of activity, etc. For example, you can participate in a meeting of delegations or an award ceremony, be present at doping control, etc.
Please note that you will not be given leave to participate in the Olympics, so the employer's refusal to let you go on the days of the Games will be the reason for refusing the right to volunteer.
