Biography
Daniel Kaigermazov was born in Nalchik on February 2, 1986 into a Balkar family. Papa Suleiman Idrisovich Kaigermazov is a physicist-mathematician by profession, and mother Rita Yusufovna Bozieva (Kaigermazova) is a teacher of Russian language and literature at school. Daniel also has a younger brother, Ernesto. Daniel and his brother were named after the revolutionaries Daniel Artego and Ernesto Che Guevara.
Daniel Kaygermazov grew up as an ordinary teenager, but already in childhood he loved to stage scenes, collecting 20-30 children in the yard for this. Although the boy did not yet have a conscious desire to engage in art.
Daniel's mom from the first day supported her son in his desire to become an actor, and his father wanted to see him in the future as a lawyer or an information technology specialist.
Daniel was educated at Hasanya School 16. Then he entered the North Caucasus State Institute of Arts in Nalchik. But he studied there for only a year.
In 2005, despite the fact that the competition was 600 people per place, Daniel entered GITIS the first time. The artistic director of the course was Vladimir Vasilievich Nazarov. In 2009, the actor successfully completed his studies.
Career and creativity
When Daniel was already finishing school, he had a chance to become a member of the KVN team under the leadership of the director and actor of the Balkarian theater Rasul Atmurzaev. Kaigermazov joined the KVN team of school # 16 in the village of Khasanya. And in a fairly short time he moved from the position of an ordinary team member to the position of captain. It was during his creative activity that Daniel made the decision that he wanted to devote his life to art.
While studying at GITIS, Daniel played his first major role in the graduation performance "Insanely Happy" in the role of a fictional character - Vasily. He also played the play "Spring in the Desert", in a small role as a sculptor. He played the play "Shadow" by Eugene Schwartz of Annunziata's father - Pietro. The role of Vodyanoy in the play "Forest Song". In the play "Don Gil - Green Pants" he played the role of Don Martin.
Also, the actor took part in the show - performance with the Borisov course, played in miniatures, excerpts of which were shown at the Elbrusoid Alumni Party.
Daniel's first film project was the series "Medical Secret" directed by Peter Stein. The actor was then still in his first year at GITIS and did not know the basics of acting. In the series, he starred in several episodes.
Then there was the cameo role of a negative character, an arms dealer - Sylvester in the film "Labyrinth" (2009), directed by Vladimir Nazarov.
He starred in the series: "Capercaillie" (2009) and "Zaitsev + 1".
In 2012 he starred in Yuri Grymov's film "The Year of the White Elephant", but the picture was never completed. Participated in the projects of the first channel: "Eurovision in our way", "Big difference" and "Duplkich".
The actor is also known for his roles in Russian TV series: "Not a Couple" (2015), "Wild 4" (2014), "Beekeeper" (2013).
In addition to his creative abilities, Daniel also turned out to be a talented director. In 2014, he took the place of the director in the feature-documentary film "The Resisted", which tells about the event of 1944, when the Balkar people were expelled from their lands. The picture was based on real events described in the works of Boris Temukuev and Khadzhimurat Sabanchiev.
He also showed himself perfectly in another, no less complex form of art - voice acting. It is in his voice that one of the main characters of the animated film "Megamind", Hal Stewart, speaks.
