It is very easy to fall under the influence of any sect: the so-called sectarian recruiters have the gift of suggestion, and some of them actively use hypnosis. In order to protect yourself from falling into a sect, it is important to follow a few tips.

Step 1
When you walk down the street, bypass those who distribute religious books or brochures to passers-by. If such a person comes up to you and offers to take a book from him, walk by, ignoring him. In no case do not look the sectarian in the eyes and do not try to talk to him, even if he tries to involve you in a conversation. As a last resort, answer him with a polite refusal and immediately move on without turning around. If the sectarian is not far behind and insists that you take the brochure, it would be better to give in and take it. Remember that you can throw this brochure in the first bin.
Step 2
Sometimes sectarians (singly or in a small group) go around houses and apartments. To protect yourself and your loved ones, never open the door to strangers without first looking through the peephole and asking about the purpose of the visit. As a rule, sectarians do not deceive even when asked "Who is there?" answer directly: "We are Jehovah's Witnesses", "We are theologians" or "We want to talk with you about God."
Step 3
If the sectarian managed to mislead you and you nevertheless opened the door, in no case let such a person into the apartment. Try to immediately escort him out the door, threatening to call the police. In no case do not talk to him for a long time and do not look into his eyes - you can fall under the influence of hypnosis. To protect yourself from the sect and to get the sectarian recruiter out of the house as soon as possible, you need to act quickly, decisively and, if necessary, harshly.
