Biography
Horde was born in February 1807 in the estate of his ancestors, which is called Vorotsevichi. Previously, this place belonged to the Minsk province. A unique engraving has been preserved that conveys the beauty of this place. The main estate was located in the center of a spacious courtyard, surrounded by a beautiful fence. Trees are located along the edges, a forest can be seen in the background. Outbuildings are located at the edges of the main estate.
Horde's father was an engineer. His name was Michael. The ancestors of the father and son were Tatars, belonged to the Golden Horde. But after the defeat of the Tatar-Mongols, the progenitors of Mikhail and Napoleon received forgiveness, since they served their new homeland with dignity. By the 18th century, the progenitors had amassed a sufficient fortune and became recognized gentry.
Napoleon's mother was named Josephine. Mikhail's wife was a talented pianist. In a believing family, the boy was baptized according to the Catholic canons.
First, Napoleon learned the basics of science at home, then in the gymnasium. After graduation, the young man enters the Vilnius University. Here he is successfully engaged in the exact sciences - physics and mathematics. But then the young man becomes a member of a secret society organized by students, for which he was expelled from the university after four years of study.
Therefore, subsequently, for more than a year, he was under the close supervision of the authorities. But soon there was an uprising in Poland. Then the already famous politician Napoleon took a direct part in this event.
But after the defeat of the uprising, he emigrated to the capital of France.
Creation
Here he came to grips with painting and music. The young man communicates widely with famous writers and musicians. Among his acquaintances were: Rossini, Liszt, G. Verdi, Balzac, Stendhal, Gounod, Berlioz. And with Chopin, our hero even played at musical evenings.
In parallel, a creative person learns to draw. He drew inspiration from numerous travels in Europe. The Horde has traveled to many countries.
Career
In 1847 he became director of the opera. But after the announcement of an amnesty for the participants in the Uprising in Poland, Napoleon returned to his homeland.
Here he continues his creative career, teaches the children of wealthy gentlemen music.
But Napoleon did not leave painting either. He created about 1000 paintings. But time has preserved only 177 of them. These masterpieces were used during the restoration of various castles in Ukraine, churches.
The creative list of the famous musician contains many waltzes, polonaises, and other musical creations.
Streets, a school were named in memory of Napoleon Orda, and even personalized coins were issued in 2007.
