Childhood and adolescence of the future poet

Stepantsov Vadim Yurievich was born on September 9, 1960 in the small town of Uzlovaya, Tula region. Parents graduated from the Tula Mining Institute, technical intellectuals. Mother Laura Ivanovna Stepantsova (maiden name Vertepa), Ukrainian by nationality, originally from the Luhansk region (Ukraine), years of life 1937-1994. Father Yuri Ivanovich Stepantsov (1938-2003), originally from the city of Smolensk. Vadim Yuryevich's grandfather, Ivan Stepantsov, before the 1917 revolution dispossessed wealthy peasants, and in the 30s was attributed to mass, Stalinist, political repressions. The future poet at the age of 7 began to write poetry. The boy's family lived in a five-story building at the address: Uzlovaya, st. Gagarina, 43. At the age of 16, after graduating from secondary school number 22, Stepantsov Vadim entered the Moscow Technological Institute of the Meat and Dairy Industry as an engineer-technologist for the meat and dairy industry.

Military service

After three years, he dropped out of college. Stepantsov was immediately taken into the ranks of the Soviet Army. He served in the KGB communications regiment in the Moscow region. The curious incident with Stepantsov in the Armed Forces influenced the future of the young man. Having left the military unit without permission, he was detained and sent to a psychiatric hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with psychopathy. After the army, Vadim Stepantsov could not get a job anywhere. I had to work as a loader, a cutter of hard leather goods, a plumber.

At 23, the future poet entered the Literary Institute. He lived in the hostel of the Literary Institute on Dobrolyubov Street, 9/11. In the mid-80s, Vadim Yuryevich Stepantsov met Yevgeny Khavtan and wrote lyrics for the Bravo group for several songs, including the main hit “King of Orange Summer”.

For the first time the poem "Money" by Vadim Stepantsov was published in the almanac "Poetry". The publication took place under the collective pseudonym "Efim Samovarshchikov" with the participation of the famous poet Rimma Kazakova.

At twenty-eight years old, Vadim Yuryevich Stepantsov graduated with honors from the Literary Institute. In December one thousand nine hundred and eighty-eight, together with Victor Pelenyagra, he signed a manifesto announcing the creation of the Order of Courtois Mannerists (an elite literary and art club). The Grand Master of the Order of Literary Studies published the poem "A Young Foreigner in a Beautiful Car". In the same year, Vadim Yuryevich Stepantsov had two high-profile publications, which were published in a multimillion circulation. The magazine "New World", №3, №12 published his selections. He quickly became one of the most famous young poets. His works were published in the most prestigious magazines, translated into foreign languages.

In one thousand nine hundred and eighty-nine, Vadim Yuryevich Stepantsov and the poet Konstantin Grigoriev created, in their words, the vandal-rock band "Bakhyt-Kompot", the first known songs of which were "A Girl named Bibigul", "Anarchist" and "Drunken Wrinkled pioneer leader ". The poet not only wrote lyrics for foreign bands, but was also the vocalist of his own, despite the fact that he did not have the ability to play any musical instruments. Its composition has changed several times, and at different times the members of the group were Robert Lenz, Konstantin Meladze, Kim Breitburg and other famous Russian musicians. In one thousand nine hundred and ninety, the group's first album, "Kislo", was released. The musicians gave concerts in clubs, and often a box of beer served as a fee. The musical group still exists today. On March 1, 1919, the video clip of the "Dropping iPhones" group was released.
