It is difficult to imagine childhood without this miracle. We played with the bear, dressed him, fell asleep with him in an embrace, entrusted him with our childhood secrets. Perhaps this toy is as much an attribute of childhood as a bicycle or a Christmas tree.
Instructions
Step 1
Each of us had our own teddy bear in childhood. Not every children's toy can boast of an exact birthday. Teddy Bear Day is celebrated on October 27 in the Scandinavian countries, the USA and the UK. In Russia, this day is celebrated on November 19. Today the teddy bear is one of the most widespread children's toys all over the world. Among adults, this animal also finds its admirers.
Step 2
In Russia, in pre-revolutionary times, toys in the shape of bears were wooden - Bogorodskie toys or ceramic - Gzhel, Zvenigorod, Dymkovo. Such toys were made by craftsmen. Teddy bears, like porcelain dolls, were first imported from abroad, and not every family could afford them.
The first teddy bear in Russia appeared in 1908. However, the overseas guest did not immediately come to the taste of the Russian people. In our country, the bear has always been considered a symbol of Russia. The bear received a special Russian flavor thanks to its national status. From time immemorial, another image of the bear has developed: Mikhailo Potapych - a kind of forest bumpkin, strong and kind. Even in small details, the Russian teddy bear does not look like its American brother.
In the 1930s, the Zagorsk Toy Institute received an unusual order: to develop a technology and begin the production of a Soviet bear unlike its Western counterparts. Before the war, production did not have time to develop, and the mass production of Soviet bears began in the 50s. This bear personified the power and strength of the Soviet Union. It was made of black or brown plush, stuffed with cotton wool, shavings or sawdust.
Step 3
Today, a teddy bear is one of the most widespread children's toys all over the world, which has been triumphantly striding across the planet with its soft paws for more than a hundred years since its inception, leaving few people indifferent. But after all, adults are not indifferent to teddy bears, they often cherish their soul mate all their lives, do not think of parting with him. For more than a hundred years, various experts have been unsuccessfully trying to explain the phenomenon of the teddy bear. Maybe a teddy bear for adults is a symbol of happy childhood days, the memory of departed parents and a dear past.
