Biography: early years

Arkady Dmitrievich Khoralov was born on January 26, 1951 in the Ukrainian city of Melitopol, in the Zaporozhye region. Name and surname (real - Artashes Heralov) changed due to considerations of euphony. His father is Armenian by nationality, whose ancestors lived in Erzurum, now these are the lands of Turkey. They fled their homes to escape the 1915 massacre. Mother is Ukrainian, a native of the Luhansk region. Parents met each other during the Great Patriotic War, and after it they played a wedding. The Khoralov family was musical: the father played the violin as a self-taught, and the mother sang songs.

Arkady studied at school # 5 in the city of Melitopol. In parallel, he attended a music school, where he mastered playing the piano. In his words, he went to it with great reluctance, because even then he loved not classical music, but pop music.

While still at school, Khoralov and his classmates organized an ensemble. The guys played at all school evenings. In addition, he sang in two urban pop ensembles and even went on tour with them.

After leaving school, Arkady became a student at the local Institute of Agricultural Mechanization. Within its walls, he mastered the specialty of an engineer for the repair of machines.

Career

As a freshman, Khoralov began performing in the student pop orchestra. Subsequently, the group "Vultures" was founded under him. Arkady was its leader. Soon he received an invitation to the "Sing Guitars" group, where he became a soloist. So his pop career began.

Khoralov worked in the "Sing Guitars" ensemble for two years. After that, he became a member of the VIA "Chervona Ruta", which was led by Sofia Rotaru. He worked there for a year, and then became a soloist of the pop jazz orchestra of Armenia. But he stayed in it for a year.

In the period from 1976 to 1979 goals Arkady worked in the then already thundering "Gems". Later he changed the team to Red Poppies. After leaving this ensemble, Khoralov began solo activities.

Personal life

Arkady Khoralov entered into an official marriage four times. He met his first wife Alla during his student days. In marriage, a daughter, Irina, was born. The second wife also gave him a daughter, Anna. Arkady lived with his third wife for 16 years, which became a kind of record for him. However, this marriage also failed. Now Khoralov is happy with his fourth wife, who is 12 years younger than him.
