Roots
Vyacheslav Igorevich Voinarovsky is an artist in the third generation. Khabarovsk became his place of birth, date - February 8, 1946.
The education of his grandfather, Yuri Nikolaevich Kilchevsky, was not musical, he studied to be a lawyer. Having dedicated his life to the stage, the peripheral operetta singer performed in such a way that the audience went exactly to him. Grandma was a dramatic actress. In Poland, where she left, leaving her husband a two-year-old child, she was called "Polish Yermolova". Even at a time when the father's parents were together, the grandfather took the stage name "Voinarovsky", considering that it was more beautiful than his last name.
Father Vyacheslav was raised by his great-grandfather. With only four years of education and an innate talent, Igor Yurievich sang and played the piano beautifully. The maternal line was, as they say, "from the plow." Nina Simonova was the only child who survived the execution of her dispossessed father, the other seven children died of hunger. She and her mother came to Khabarovsk from distant Kazakhstan. The girl was fond of singing and dancing.
The acquaintance of Voinarovsky's parents happened during the recruitment of the troupe for visiting front-line concerts. Collaboration and constant communication led to the birth of a great feeling and the creation of a family. During a tour of the post-war 46th in Japan, my mother was pregnant with Vyacheslav.
Childhood
Little Slava was more with his grandmother, his father and mother were constantly on tour. And although he had a voice and hearing, he did not care much about his singing career. More time was spent playing games with friends. Studying at school was also difficult, because it was not interesting. Mom, who graduated from GITIS, insisted on continuing her son's studies there, but the child did not want to study.
After the end of the eight-year period, the young man gets a job in the theater as a stage worker and goes to evening school. As often happens, the case changed everything.
The first circumstance that made the young man think about serious studies was the arrival at the theater for the distribution of graduates of the capital's university.
The second was the sensational film about the great Caruso starring Mario Lanza.
Once, returning from a tour and listening to complaints from neighbors that their son turns on the turntable at full volume and yells with the singer, the father sat down at the piano and asked Slava to sing. Having suffered with the boy in order to hear the singing, and not the op, Igor Yuryevich told his wife: "But he has a pure tenor." After this, the guy was attached to the choir of the theater, and soon he began to receive solo parts.
Having received a certificate of secondary education, Vyacheslav goes to Moscow to enter GITIS. Young artists working in the Khabarovsk theater strictly ordered him to ask the teacher Dora Borisovna Belyavskaya, which he did. This illustrious woman has raised a great many wonderful singers, of which 50 became folk singers.
During his studies at the institute, Voinarovsky's assessments were only excellent, his talent was revealed with full force.
Career
He was already promised a job at the Bolshoi Theater, but, by chance, the main director changed there, and the young artist chooses the newly opened Saratov Theater. During the year of work, 14 different parties were successfully performed in it.
A year later, the aspiring singer auditioned for the Stanislavsky Theater, and in 1971 Voinarovsky sings in Moscow. He does not feel a lack of repertoire, his voice is in demand. In "The Bat" alone, he sang all the male parts.
The Bolshoi Theater works with the artist on a contract basis. After Peter Ustinov staged the famous opera The Love for Three Oranges, the first part of the work invariably remains with Vyacheslav. He sings in other productions as well. He regrets only one thing, that because of his complexion, the role of Lensky is inaccessible to him.
In parallel with his work, the singer received a second specialty - directing.
Stage
Voinarovsky considers variety art to be the most difficult genre - you have to go on stage alone, without decorations and partners, and “take the audience”. But, at the same time, pop activity is a great happiness for him, there is a distraction from the main activity. During his life, he participated in a large number of group concerts with wonderful artists such as Papanov, Leonov, Khazanov, Vinokur.
In the middle between the arias, the singer can tell a joke, so much so that the most serious people will laugh. Inborn irony and humor are inherent in the artist in a subtle, unobtrusive form. This is also a family trait, once for the told anecdote about Stalin, the grandfather was imprisoned and paid with his life.

The actor Voinarovsky has no main roles. But episodic roles in his performance do not go unnoticed. He starred in both mini-series "12 Chairs" - Gaidai's and Zakharov's, Ryazanov's "Garage", Kvinikhidze's "31 June", voiced Farada's song in the "Formula of Love". And this is not a complete list. In total, the artist's filmography has exceeded 30 titles.
Personal life
The first two marriages of Vyacheslav Igorevich did not work out due to constant moving, which brought the artist great pain.
As Vyacheslav's current wife, Olga, says, it was impossible not to fall in love with a charming man. At his own wedding, the singer sang "Oh, you darling" to the bride. And now for 42 years they have been living happily and cheerfully.
Olga works as a teacher at a choreographic school. The family has two children - son Igor and daughter Nastya.
Igor continues the dynasty, choosing an acting profession. He is an artist in the Workshop of Pyotr Fomenko, has successfully starred in "Hipsters".
The daughter went into the exact economic sphere, although she is artistic, talented and sings.
The children gave their grandfather two grandchildren. Nastya's son Sasha went to school in 2018, Arishenka, Igor's daughter, is now almost three years old. Grandfather loves his grandchildren immensely.
Vyacheslav Igorevich Voinarovsky loves life in all its manifestations and expresses a desire for it to be more funny and less tragic.
