Stevie Nicks (full name Stephanie Lynn) is an American singer, musician, songwriter, lead singer of the famous band Fleetwood Mac. She became one of the most successful female rock musicians and was named one of the "100 Greatest Songwriters".
The singer's creative biography began at the age of 4 with performances in a small tavern, which was kept by her parents. At the age of 16, Nyx was in possession of a guitar, which was presented to her for her birthday. No one could even imagine that the girl would become one of the legendary performers of rock music, achieve tremendous success and fame in the musical field.

Stephanie was born in the United States in the spring of 1948 in the capital of Arizona - Phoenix. As a child, she was the most ordinary girl. But, as her parents said, she was uncontrollable and had a violent character.
Stevie first appeared on stage at the age of four. The parents had a small cafe where local musicians often performed. One day the girl went on stage and sang several songs. The audience liked the performance very much. Therefore, in the future, she repeatedly demonstrated her musical talent and beautiful voice.
The parents decided to send their daughter to study at a music school, where she began to take vocal lessons. In addition, Stevie's grandfather was a famous country music performer and also worked with his granddaughter, instilling in her a love of music and singing.
Soon Stevie took part in a young talent competition. And after that she decided that she would definitely become a famous singer.
During her school years, Stevie began writing her own songs, and then joined The Changing Times. When the girl was 16 years old, her parents gave her a guitar, after which she completely immersed herself in music and creativity.
After receiving her primary education, Nix entered college, where she met the musician Lindsay Buckingham. Together they formed a group called Fritz.
Musical career
The group quickly became popular and soon began opening concerts for rock stars such as Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. But it was still far from fame and success. Performances did not bring much income, Nyx was forced to work as a waitress in a restaurant. But she continued to go on stage and very much hoped that one day luck would be on her side.
And so it happened. After one of the performances, Stevie and Lindsay were invited to join the Fleetwood Mac group. After the first concert, the singer received a pretty decent fee, which allowed her not to think about money in the near future.
By the time they joined the Knicks group, the musicians were already quite famous and even recorded several albums. But the real success came to Fleetwood Mac with the arrival of Stevie. With her amazing voice and author's songs, the singer quickly conquered the audience. Thanks to her, the popularity of the group began to grow rapidly, soon they learned about it all over the world.

Nyx was credited with many romances with famous stars, but mostly these were just rumors.
Stevie had a best friend who died of cancer in 1983. After her death, the singer decided to marry the widower Kim Anderson to help him raise her son. The strange marriage did not last long, and the couple eventually broke up.
In an interview, Stevie said that all her life she loved only one person - the musician Joe Walsh. They broke up in the 1980s due to the fact that they could not overcome drug addiction together.
She managed to cope with the problem on her own and undergo rehabilitation. For more than 30 years, Nix has been monitoring her health, does not use alcohol and strong drugs.
