Barry Gibb is a British singer and songwriter, also known as one of the founders of the popular music group "Bee Gees". Barry is not the only child in the family. He has an older sister Leslie and three younger brothers - Maurice, Robin and Andy. In September 1951, Gibb entered Braddan School, where he studied for two years. Then his family moved. The boy continued his education at the Tynwald Street Babies School and Desmesne Road Boys School.
In 1955, as a child, Barry Gibb formed the rock and roll band The Rattlesnakes, which also included his brothers Maurice and Robin. Later the band will become famous all over the world under the name "Bee Gees".

However, in 1969, Robin Gibb first left the group, and by the end of the year the team completely disintegrated. But very soon the brothers started working together again and in 1970 the "Bee Gees" presented the compositions "Lonely Days", "Life in a Tin Can", "Saw a New morning" and others.
