Step 1
Before signing out and registering (i.e. deregistering with the migration service), decide what kind of registration you plan to receive. If you need to register for a while, then you will have to issue "registration at the place of stay." When registering temporarily, there is no need to leave your home.
Step 2
Permanent registration can be made at the passport office at the place of residence. To do this, you need to contact the passport officer with documents confirming the ownership of the residential premises where you are registering, a passport and an application filled out in the form 1P.
Step 3
If you are not the owner of an apartment or house, you must bring the legal owners with you, and if it is impossible (for example, they are not in the country), submit their notarized consent to your registration.
Step 4
There is also no need to go to be removed from the registration register to the previous place of residence, the modern migration registration system allows you to check out and register at the same time. It's just that in the passport office and the FMS department where you applied, you will also need to fill in the “departure form”.
Step 5
However, you should understand that if you bring the “departure sheet” with a note about the withdrawal to your former place of residence yourself, they will register you much faster. the fact is that the registrar is obliged, according to your application, to make a request to the FMS division where you were previously registered, and even if both departments are located within the same city, and employees can easily call each other and clarify the fact of removing you from the register, while you will not receive a written response to your request, no one will register you.
