At a young age, he enlists as a messenger in a prestigious hotel. The luxurious life of rich people shakes his mind, and he decides to become a part of this society at any cost. Two beautiful girls fall in love with Clyde. Roberta is a simple factory worker with whom Griffiths has had an affair for a long time. The girl becomes pregnant from him and Clyde promises to marry. But unexpectedly, an affair with the heiress of a wealthy manufacturer gives him a real opportunity to become a member of high society. For Clyde, the choice is clear. The only obstacle to a happy future is Roberta Alden, whom Griffiths intends to remove in cold blood.

The young writer decides to commit suicide, but suddenly the editor of another well-known publication appears in his apartment. He offers his assistance in printing the novel and introduces Maksudov to the writing elite. The young playwright gets involved in the backstage of theatrical intrigues and learns from the inside how the life of famous playwrights goes.
Step 4
In the comedy "Crazy Day, or the Marriage of Figaro" Pierre-Augustin Beaumarchais breaks all the norms of French comedy and creates a masterpiece of stunning sharpness of syllable. Despite the fact that the work was written at the end of the 18th century, it has not lost its relevance today. The play is easy to read and is of interest with a large number of funny misunderstandings and adventurous behavior of the protagonist Figaro, who is very determined and resourceful in the struggle for sincere feelings.
