Carol Vorderman, whose full name sounds like Carol Jean Vorderman, was born on December 24, 1960 in Bedford, Bedfordshire, England. Her parents, Anton Vorderman and Edwina J. Davis, broke up just three weeks after the baby was born.

Mother took Carol, her brother Anton, sister Trixie and left for her hometown of Prestatin, North Wales. Carol Vorderman's next meeting with her father took place 42 years later.
