During his lifetime, Oleg Zhukov more than once told media representatives that he never aspired to become famous and make a career as a musician. The frontman of the "Disco Crash" collective was simply pleased to appear on the stage and entertain the audience.

Biography of the actor

Oleg Zhukov was born on September 11, 1973 in the city of Ivanovo. Almost nothing is known about his youth and childhood. Oleg did not dream of a career in show business, but music itself and in general creative professions began to attract him back in his school years. Even then, a talented teenager attracted the attention of several creative teams of his hometown.

Already at the age of 15, in 1988, Oleg began working part-time in one of the Ivanovo puppet theaters. Here he voiced the characters of children's productions. After graduating from a ten-year school in 1989, the future musician entered the Ivanovo Power Engineering Institute.

The prospect of becoming an engineer for a talented young man, apparently, was not particularly attractive. In the 3rd year, Oleg dropped out of the institute and went to serve in the army.

Returning from military service in 1991, the rapper met with his university friends Nikolai Timofeev and Alexei Ryzhov, who had already organized the Fire Extinguisher musical group by that time.

This group, later renamed the "Disco Crash", Oleg subsequently devoted his entire life. Most of the songs of this popular band were performed by him.

Creation

Initially, Nikolai Timofeev and Alexei Ryzhov planned to create a rock group. This musical direction was gaining popularity in the country at that time. However, the friends did not have enough money to buy expensive musical instruments and equipment. And then Nikolai and Alexey decided to organize an ordinary pop group, focusing on the originality and charisma of the compositions to attract viewers.

The change in the name of the group contributed to the accident. Once, during the performance of the musicians at one of the Ivanovo discos, the lights went out in the hall. Nikolai Timofeev found an ingenious way out of this unpleasant situation. A member of the group said into the microphone that there were no reasons for worries, since the group "Disco Crash" was on the stage. Subsequently, this name was permanently assigned to the team.

Oleg Zhukov was a rather plump young man. However, despite this peculiarity, he was always dynamic on stage, often danced and made original rap inserts. His energy infected fans who adored their idol and memorized his songs.

Thanks, among other things, to the charisma of Oleg Zhukov, the group "Disco Crash" very quickly gained popularity in Ivanovo. Inspired by their success, the musicians decided to go to conquer Moscow.

In the capital, they presented their songs to the judges of the producers of the Soyuz studio. Soon after, the first dance music album "Disco Crash", "Dance with me", was released. The creativity of young talents could be appreciated by pop music lovers all over the country, and soon the band members were already touring Russia.

In 1999, Oleg Zhukov and his friends released two more albums: "Marathon" and "Song about you and about me." In subsequent years, the team periodically delighted fans with their new clips and hits. During the life of Oleg Zhukov, "Disco Avaria" released a total of five albums:

  • "Dance with Me";
  • "Marathon";
  • "A song about you and about me";
  • "Accident against!";
  • "Maniacs".

The most popular songs of the collective are still considered:

  • "Let's crash!";
  • "New Year";
  • Drink beer.

Oleg Zhukov took part in the creation of all these compositions, and subsequently performed them on stage.

Sickness and death

The group "Disco Crash", which gained popularity among fans, toured the country a lot. On one of these trips in 2001, Oleg Zhukov began to complain to his comrades about headaches that tormented him.

At first, the musician thought that the problem was caused by fatigue due to private performances on stage. However, even the rest did not give Oleg relief. Ultimately, the young man was forced to go to the doctors.

Doctors diagnosed the musician with brain cancer. The disease was not detected at a too late stage. That is why the doctors gave a positive prognosis to Oleg. The young man underwent chemotherapy and underwent surgery in Israel.

Oleg was not going to give up his illness. His friends, hoping for a speedy recovery, even hid his illness from fans for a long time. At one of the concerts, when a fan asked where Oleg had gone, his friends laughed it off, saying that he was stuck in an elevator.

However, despite the favorable prognosis, the musician's illness continued to progress. After the operation, Oleg was forced to refuse to go on stage completely.

At the end of winter 2002, the singer, beloved by many music fans, was gone. The rapper was buried in his hometown of Ivanovo. A few years later, the bandmates released an album dedicated to Oleg "Disco Superstar".

Personal life

Oleg Zhukov died very young - at the age of only 28 years. By this time, he simply did not have time to meet the woman whom he would like to always see next to him. Oleg believed that he still had many years of life ahead of him and there was no need to rush to find a wife.

Life decreed otherwise. The musician will never have a spouse again, and fans will not hear his new songs. The last clip recorded by Oleg Zhukov was "On the Edge of the Attack", which was later adopted as the base one in the album of the Maniacs group.
