Roman Zhukov is a Soviet and Russian musician, composer, former member of the Mirage group. The peak of the artist's popularity came in the late 80s and early 90s of the last century, but his songs are remembered and loved decades later.
Childhood, adolescence
Roman Zhukov was born on April 19, 1967 in the city of Oryol, but soon his family moved to Makhachkala, where almost the entire childhood of the future celebrity passed. The novel grew up in a complete family. From an early age he loved to sing and showed good vocal abilities, good ear. Parents decided to develop their son's talent and took him to a music school, which he successfully graduated from.
In Makhachkala, Roman played in a local orchestra and delighted the audience with bright performances at various city events, on the stage of the House of Pioneers. In 1984, Zhukov, after listening to the advice of his parents, moved to Moscow and entered the then popular aviation aircraft technical school. But he did not stop studying music. Career
In 1987, Roman Zhukov had a chance to break into the big stage. He was invited to work in the "Mirage" group and offered to play keyboards. Roman wanted something more, and after a while Roman began to compose songs together with Sergei Kuznetsov, the author of the hits of the "Laskoviy May" group. He did it very well. Zhukov, as a composer-arranger, took part in the recording of an album for Svetlana Razina, who left Mirage. In 1988, Roman left the team and began to build his own career. He wrote soulful songs and performed them on stage. The compositions "First Snow" and "Night Distance" were very popular. His magnetic album "Dust of Dreams" became his debut and in his support Zhukov made a famous tour of the cities of Russia.
In 1989, Roman created the Marshal group and quickly recorded the second album, which included the song "I love you girls, I love you boys". This composition was a huge success. Some people still identify Roma Zhukov with this particular song. Subsequently, several versions of the hit were recorded and translated into different languages.
The most successful albums of the musician and vocalist were:
- Dream Dust (1998);
- "Maximum version of discos" (1989);
- "Sweet Boy" (1991).
In the wake of popularity, the Marshal group toured extensively, giving more than 500 concerts in a year. The editors of one of the authoritative publications called Zhukov a super-guest performer.
In 1993, the Marshal group broke up and Zhukov moved to live in the United States. In the United States, he studied music, recorded new songs. In 1995, he actively performed in Germany for Russian emigrants, and then unexpectedly returned to Moscow. But at home, the musician did not stay long. His popularity in those years began to decline and he wanted to conquer a new audience, to reach another level. From 1996 to 1997 Zhukov lived in Italy. There he recorded versions of his hit "I love you girls, I love you boys" in English and Italian.
In 1997 Zhukov returned to Russia. Under the pseudonym "Nemo" he recorded the album "Back to the Future". In 1999, under his own name, he recorded the album "Return". It includes carpet versions of old hits and new compositions.
At the beginning of the new century, Roman Zhukov recorded several albums:
- “You don’t trust me” (2000);
- "The New Best" (2002);
- "Blue frost" (2003).
In 2013 Zhukov released the album "D. I. S. C. O." The artist's fans were very happy about this, since until the release of the record, Roman had not released anything new for 8 years. The title song for the album was "Disco Night". The artist shot a bright video for her.
After reminding himself as a popular musician, Zhukov tried to become a producer. He was promoting the singer Olga Afanasyeva, but this did not lead to anything serious. In 2017, the singer presented the fans with a new composition "Game", on which he recorded a video in 2018. Zhukov actively takes part in group concerts along with other artists who were popular in the 80s of the last century. The novel admits that he would like to record a few more hits that can repeat the success of past song compositions.
Personal life
There were always many beautiful girls around Roman Zhukov. But he tried not to advertise his personal life. In 2005, the musician unexpectedly married his beloved Elena. They had 7 children in their marriage. All the artist's children were born in different countries. Roman is called the most large father of Russian show business.
In 2012, a misfortune happened in the Zhukov family. The musician's five-year-old daughter was injured on the playground and died in the hospital. At that moment, his wife was pregnant. The tragedy brought Roman and Elena together and made them realize the full value of a relationship. Zhukov shared his feelings with reporters in an interview. But, most likely, it was an illusion. Grief changed the life of the couple. Many called their family ideal, but in 2017 there were reports that Roman had left his wife. Zhukov accused Elena of treason and a riotous lifestyle. His wife assured that the reason for the divorce was betrayal on the part of Roman. She regarded his departure as a real betrayal and assured that her ex-husband did not give her money to support her children. After the scandal, the musician moved to Sochi and opened his own restaurant there, which became popular among Russian celebrities.
In 2018, he introduced his new companion Olga to everyone. She is much younger than him. The novel assures that he is happy in a relationship and does not even exclude that in the future it will develop into something more serious.
