To get a quality education, young people had to go abroad. Through the titanic efforts of Yaroslav Kuzminov, the initiative group carried out preparatory measures and formed a pact of constituent documents. The Russian Higher School of Economics (HSE) was established by a government decree of November 27, 1992, and Kuzminov was approved as the rector.
The new educational structure developed dynamically. Specialists from various fields of knowledge came to the walls of the HSE to implement their projects. Creativity and non-standard approach were only welcomed here. Of course, it is very difficult to break existing habits and stereotypes overnight. For the rector, it remains a very important area of work to combat corruption, cronyism and nepotism.
