Biography

Alex Jones, whose full name sounds like Alexander Emerick Jones, was born on February 11, 1974 in the American city of Dallas, Texas. He became the only son of dentist David Jones and middle-class housewife Paula Jones.

The boy's early childhood was spent in Rockwall, a suburb of Dallas. Later, his family moved to Austin, the capital of Texas, where he attended Anderson High School. Here Alex, who has been fond of sports since childhood, joined the school football team.

After graduating from high school in 1993, he continued his studies at Austin Community College. In college, Jones studied politics and literature. During these years, he began to have health problems, which forced the young man to quit football and give up sports. He soon dropped out of college without completing his studies.

Career and creativity

Alex Jones's professional career began in 1995 when he worked for a cable TV channel in Austin. During this period, the novice presenter managed to find his own unique style, which he transferred to the radio air.

In 1996, Alex was invited to host the radio program The Final Edition, which aired on the KJFK channel. On one of the broadcasts, he expressed confidence that the US government is involved in the bombings in Oklahoma City. His statement caused a violent reaction among the audience. He received many letters from fans who shared his point of view and began to send him additional information that serves as "evidence" of this theory.

In 1998, Jones released his first documentary, America Destroyed by Plan. In 1999, his radio show, despite high ratings, was canceled. Due to Jones' political views, the radio station was unable to find sponsors. Then he, using the digital ISDN network, started broadcasting right from home and got rid of the need to censor his broadcasts. His show was broadcast throughout the country and had many fans.

In 2001, after his directorial debut, he decided to try his hand at acting and starred in the film Awakening Life directed by Richard Linklater. A year later, Jox presented his new work - the book "9/11: The Road to Tyranny".

In 2006, Alex Jones began his own radio program, The Alex Jones Show. The project turned out to be very successful. It is currently broadcast on over 60 stations in America. According to Jones himself, the weekly number of listeners to his program is more than 2 million people.

In January 2013, after the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, CNN invited him to participate in a discussion about arms control in America. In the studio, Jones shouted and reacted very aggressively to the opposite opinion of presenter Piers Morgan, which caused criticism from the audience.

In June of the same year, he appeared on the BBC TV show, which was devoted to the discussion of the Bilderberg Club. In the end, Jones' radical views and statements earned him the fame of a man with high analytical skills, but too obsessed with the idea of a "new world order." Thus, members of the British rock band The Rolling Stones called him "the most paranoid man in America", and CNN called him "the king of the conspiracy."

In 2013, he met Roger Stone, who later introduced him to Donald Trump. In December 2015, the future US president became a guest on the Alex Jones show and praised the work of the American presenter. Jones, in turn, actively campaigned to vote for Trump, and called Clinton and Obama "demons." After the election, Donald Trump thanked Jones and his viewers for their support.

In 2016, Alex Jones starred in the action movie AmeryGeddon, directed by American actor, screenwriter and composer Mike Norris. In this story of a fictional attack by the American government on its own country, he played the minor role of Senator Reed.

In 2018, Jones' numerous claims of a worldwide conspiracy were criticized, and Apple and the world's largest social network Facebook blocked access to his InfoWars resource. Nevertheless, the journalist continues to adhere to very radical political views.

Personal life

Alex Jones, who knows about the intricacies of the work of the media, has managed to keep his personal life relatively “safe”. There is little information on the net about his wife and children. However, it is known that he was married to the American animal rights activist Kelly Rebecca Nichols. She is the Head of Public Relations and Information Operations for the well-known non-profit organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
