The future actress was born in the United States in the summer of 1969. She grew up in Portland, Oregon. From childhood, the girl dreamed of becoming an actress. During her school years, she repeatedly received the main roles in performances, and by the end of her studies she firmly knew that she would devote her life to art.
After completing her primary education, Kim entered Southern Oregon State College and graduated with honors with a BA in acting. Then the girl continued her studies at Temple University and received a Master of Fine Arts degree. She is also a Certified Stage Combat Specialist.

Creative career
