Biography
The life of the future celebrity began in the 80s of the last century in Turkey. The homeland of the Sultan is the city of Mardin, located on the outskirts of the country. Initially, the boy practically did not stand out among other children, until he was 10 years old he was even lower than his peers. Kösen's parents, brothers and sisters, were also of medium height.
Further, the mother and father of the teenager went to the doctor because of his excessive growth rates. Doctors diagnosed an extremely rare disease - a pituitary tumor, which is characterized by high levels of growth hormone in the blood, which, in turn, contributes to unhealthy gains in muscle, bone and other mass.
After the first complaints, the Sultan had no problems, he was simply taller than other young men, but this did not particularly interfere with everyday life. Kösen even tried for some time to realize his natural gift as an advantage on the basketball court, but later he developed serious problems with bone and muscle apparatus.
When the man was 26 years old, the doctors reported good news to the Sultan's family - supposedly the ailment had receded. But literally 3 years later, the growth of the Guinness world record holder reached 251 centimeters, then he achieved an unquestioning record in the famous book. At this point, medical assistance helped - later the Sultan stopped growing.
Such problems do not go unnoticed for a man, he faces a number of problems every day: he moves with a special wand, cannot feel comfortable in standard low-rise rooms, suffers from a lack of suitable clothing.
Despite all the disadvantages, Kösen tries to look at life with optimism, does what he loves, and regularly watches various films and TV series. Also his favorite hobby is video games. In 2018, the Sultan created his own Instagram page, on which he regularly posts a report about his own life, and builds feedback with the audience.
Career
Due to health problems, the man could not get any education, he did not even finish school. At first, Kösen worked in his family's usual craft - farming. He plowed the beds, interacted with livestock.
As a result, Sultan managed to financially benefit from his global popularity: he is constantly invited as a participant in many world television shows, and also tries to make money on the Internet.
Personal life
At first, the gigantic size of the man frightened off potential applicants for marriage. Nobody wanted to start a relationship with a person who is almost 2 times taller than most people.
But everything changed after the giant became world famous. A year after entering the Sultan into the world book of records, he had a wife - Marve Dibo. The chosen one was from Syria. Their marriage was concluded in 2013 and still exists.
