The full name of the actress is Mary Alice Smith. She was born in Indianola, Mississippi, USA. Mary is the daughter of Ozelar Yurnakin and Sam Smith. Very little is known about the education and personal life of the actress. Alice won the 1987 Tony Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Play for her role in the production of Fences.
Mary won the prestigious Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Television Series Drama for her work on the series I’ll Fly Away between 1991 and 1993. Following the death of her colleague, Alice replaced Gloria Foster in 2001 in The Matrix Revolutions. Also, due to the sad event, she got a role in the video game Enter The Matrix.
