"ArchStoyanie" is a unique event of its kind. Landscape designers, sculptors, architects and artists have come together to create a permanent installation near a village near Moscow. Its purpose is not only to express conceptual ideas, but also to ennoble the area, preserving its natural landscape.
The ArchStoyanie festival is held in the Kaluga region, near the village of Nikola-Lenivets. This territory is famous for the fact that the first settlement of the ancient Slavs arose here. For this reason, excavations are constantly being renewed on it and scientific work is being carried out. This village and its environs have been chosen by creative personalities for their exposition. The entire area around the village is a kind of open-air museum, on the territory of which new installations by artists, landscape designers and architects appear every six months. In addition, experts offer fresh solutions for the development of land. One of the main ideas of the festival is to bring unique ideas to life and take care of the surrounding space.
Anyone who is related to architecture, design, sculpture and who is not alien to the fate of an empty natural space can participate in the festival. Before submitting an application, you need to create a project. Naturally, it must be unique. Landscape designers should get acquainted with the nature of the area in which they will realize their fantasies.
You can send a project for approval by the preliminary commission via the Internet. To create its electronic version, you must use the programs Archicard, 3DStudio and 3ds Max. You can send a scanned version of drawings or images. In this case, they will look like constituent parts. Alternatively, you should use an industrial scanner.
When the electronic sketch is ready, you need to draw up a cover letter. It should contain information about the participants and the idea of the project. This message should be sent to the e-mail address indicated in the contact information on the ArchStoya website.
You should wait for a response for some time (about a week). There are many participants, the commission should carefully study the project. If you receive a positive answer, you can prepare for the trip. The time of the next festival will be indicated in the reply letter. First you need to get to Moscow. Buses will go from the capital to Nikola-Lenivets, according to the schedule drawn up for the duration of the event.
