Andy Warhol is a well-known American designer, artist, writer and even a magazine publisher. He is considered the pioneer of the ideology that later formed the basis of the movement known as "commercial pop art". Many books have been written about Warhol, films have been made. It was he who turned an ordinary can of Coca-Cola into a piece of art.
Warhol was born in America to a family of immigrants from Slovakia. From a young age, the future discoverer of pop art showed an insatiable interest in art. Andy began his independent career as a designer for a number of magazines, including Vogue. The spirit of boundless freedom, the originality of the execution of illustrations and considerable eccentricity have earned the author great popularity. The fame of an extraordinary artist came to Warhol after the public was presented with a painting depicting cans of Coca-Cola. Critics immediately stated that Andy Warhol scoffed at the achievements of Western civilization with his eccentric works. Subsequently, the artist also became famous for his extraordinary artwork, which depicted Mao Zedong and Marilyn Monroe. These paintings are still highly regarded by fans of eccentric painting. Subsequently, leaving a successful career as a designer, Warhol decided to try himself in the work of a non-commercial filmmaker. At his "Factory" work was in full swing day and night, new films were released, breathtaking in duration, extravagant and shocking images were created. For example, in one of his six-hour films, Warhol limited himself to showing a skyscraper shot by a motionless camera through a window sash. Surprisingly, there were also those who found the strength to watch this masterpiece to the end. Andy Warhol is also known for his original philosophy of life, which he himself called "the right thing in the wrong place." For his works of art, the author chose what everyone needs, for example, a dollar bill or a soup can. And then he turned this object into something that, it would seem, has no practical value, but for some reason is in great demand. Warhol did not change his philosophical views even after an attempt on his life by one of his fans. When Warhol, a near-death survivor, was asked what could have caused the assassination attempt, he replied with his characteristic non-standard humor: "I was in the wrong place at the right time."
