Andrey Grigoriev-Apollonov is a singer and musician, a member of the popular Russian group Ivanushki International. Today the famous "red-haired from" Ivanushki " continues to perform in a team that is more than 20 years old.
Biography
Andrey Grigoriev-Apollonov was born in 1970 in Sochi. The red-haired boy, as befits his appearance, grew up very active and artistic. He loved to perform on the school stage and enthusiastically collected stamps, even becoming one of the famous young collectors of his time. Andrey had a good ear and voice, so he studied at a music school. After graduating from the ninth grade, the future singer entered the pedagogical school and after that he managed to work as a teacher.
The bright appearance and high (190 cm) height of Grigoriev-Apollonov did their job, and in Sochi the guy was offered to become a model. This page of his career turned out to be quite successful. Realizing all his capabilities, the young man moved to Moscow, where in 1991 he entered the pop department of GITIS. In his student years, Andrei worked as a dancer in various musical groups and over time became a permanent artist of the Warsaw Drama Theater, on whose tour he visited Poland and the United States.
While performing in the musical Metro, Grigoriev-Apollonov met another artist Igor Sorin. Both guys dreamed of a musical career and, returning to Moscow, began to look for suitable proposals. They were helped by the composer and producer Igor Matvienko, who was looking for participants in a new pop group. So Kirill Andreev joined Sorin and Grigoriev-Apollonov, and the famous Ivanushki International boy band was born.
The collective quickly conquers the stage and releases the album "Of course he", which includes such hits as "Clouds", "Somewhere", "Universe" and others. In 1998, Igor Sorin passed away from the group, and subsequently from life, and Oleg Yakovlev took his place. The group continued active concert activities and released four more albums. Since 2013, instead of Oleg Yakovlev, Kirill Turichenko began performing in a team that does not lose its positions on the Russian stage.
Personal life
Andrei Grigoriev-Apollonov has never been deprived of female attention. His first wife was Maria Lopatova, and the couple maintained civil relations for five years. The next beloved woman in the life of Grigoriev-Apollonov was Maria Bankova, with whom the artist had already chosen to enter into an official marriage. The eminent husband and wife had sons Ivan and Artemy.
In 2017, Andrey suffered a series of misfortunes: the former soloist of "Ivanushki" and the friend of the "redhead" Oleg Yakovlev suddenly died of illness. Immediately after him, the sister of Grigorieva-Apollonova Julia passed away. The singer was very upset by these losses and even began to abuse alcohol, but still managed to cope with grief, having gone headlong into stage work.
