The duet with the master was called "Upholsterers". The team even managed to record the Makers of High Grade Suites album.
In the early nineties, the practical Jack started his own business. He opened an upholstery studio. There was no shortage of clients, but the guy did not enjoy the job. Musicians from the local country punk band Goober & the Peas offered to play with them. As a drummer with the new band, Wyatt gave his first professional concert.
Confession
Since Jack's favorite number was three, he chose the trinity as his main rule: drums, guitar and vocals. And in 1997, The White Stripes appeared. E Jack founded with Mag White, his first wife. The main focus was underground garage rock.
In 1998, the band began working with Detroit's Italy Records, a garage punk label. The first album was released in 1999. The title was the same as the name of the group. A year later, the name was changed to De Stijl.
The guys were criticized immediately after the release of their first disc. Their second experience, White Blood Cells, in 2001 was also disapprovingly greeted. In the fifth album, Get Behind Me Satan, marimba, piano were added to the usual sounds of the group, rhythm guitar parts were increased. Jack played all the instruments. New projects

In 2005, Jack co-founded The Raconteurs. Together with Brendan Benson, the first Steady song, As She Goes, was recorded. In support of the debut disc "Broken Boy Soldiers" there was a tour, including performances with Bob Dylan. The new album "Consolers of the Lonely" received a Grammy nomination. He was the drummer and vocalist of The Dead Weather in 2009. By that time, Jack had already learned to play the piano, bass guitar, banjo.
