Sergachev Viktor Nikolaevich is a unique Soviet actor who has played more than 150 roles in cinema and theater, director, one of the founders of the Sovremennik Theater. His talent was multifaceted and bright, he easily coped with both comedic and dramatic works.

Viktor Nikolaevich was born into a simple working-class family, in the Chita region, at the end of November 1934. The birthplace of the future Honored Artist of the RSFSR was the small station Borzya. The boy's family was far from art, but he himself dreamed of becoming an actor from childhood. After graduating from school, Victor went to the capital, entered the Moscow Art Theater School, where Pavel Vladimirovich Massalsky became his mentor.
A talented young actor immediately after receiving his diploma was admitted to the theater of the Soviet Army, but he served there for only a year. In 1957, together with like-minded people, he set about creating a new Sovremennik theater. Volchek Galina, Oleg Tabakov, Evstigneev Evgeny and Kvasha Igor became Viktor Nikolaevich's companions. Victor left Sovremennik 4 years later, but there has always been a theater stage in his career. He was part of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater, the Moscow Art Theater, the Sphere Theater. Sergachev was also successful in cinema. The first work in this direction was the role of the district police officer in the film "The End of the World" in 1962. Personal life of Viktor Nikolaevich Sergachev
Viktor Nikolaevich was married twice, he had two daughters - Olya and Vera. His first daughter was given birth to by a colleague at the Sovremennik theater, the second - by a Bulgarian named Vanya, his second official wife. The youngest daughter Vera followed in her father's footsteps, graduated from the directing department of VGIK, and the eldest chose a different professional path - she became a doctor.
The Sergachev family lived quite modestly, the actor had no savings. Viktor Nikolaevich died on February 26, 2013 from aortic rupture. The death was a real shock for the family, since there were no prerequisites for it, the actor regularly underwent examinations at the Sklifosovsky Research Institute.
Sergachev Viktor Nikolaevich was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery in Moscow after a farewell funeral service at the Moscow Art Theater.
