Biography

Olga was born in 1980 in Minsk in an ordinary family. Her parents had nothing to do with the art world. The girl's childhood was happy, and the future "star" herself was no different from her peers.

Dykhovichnaya did not immediately decide to devote herself to the acting profession. After graduating from high school, she entered the Belarusian State University at the department of art history.

During her student days, Olga began working on television as the host of the Morning Cocktail program. In 1998 she decided to move to Moscow.

Creative life

In Moscow, the girl managed to get a job at the VID television company. It was on television that the fateful meeting of the future artist with Ivan Dykhovichny took place. She was introduced to the director by mutual friends, and a whirlwind romance immediately began between the young people. The relationship developed very rapidly and soon the lovers got married.

It was Dykhovichny who advised Olga to enroll in higher directing courses. The actress still speaks with respect and gratitude about her favorite teachers - Svetlana Karmalita and Alexei German. These teachers helped her to reveal her talent and decide on the choice of a profession. Dykhovichnaya also graduated from the courses of the Moscow Gestalt Institute.

Olga began acting in films, too, at the suggestion of her husband. First, Ivan offered his wife a small role in the comedy "Kopeyka", where she played the young lady Tatiana. But the popularity of the actress brought her work in the drama "Inhale, Exhale." Dykhovichnaya played the role of a gay woman. Despite the ambiguity of the plot, the picture had a good response.

A landmark in the fate of Dykhovichnaya was her work in the film "Portrait at Twilight" (2011) directed by Angelina Nikonova. For this film, the actress received the Best Actress Award at the Honfleur Russian Film Festival and other awards.

Another of the notable roles of the artist is the image of the police captain Nina Filatova in the drama series "Money".

Since the beginning of the 2000s, Olga, together with her husband Ivan Dykhovichny, worked as a director at the Volia studio. Among her works as a director and screenwriter are: “Welkome Home”, “Maria Bochkareva. Calling to death”and others.

Personal life

Olga Golyak (the artist's maiden name) in 1999 married the famous Russian director Ivan Dykhovichny. The girl at that time was only 18 years old, and her husband - over 50. The marriage was happy and creatively fruitful. It was her husband who made Olga a talented and whole person.

The spouses did not have children. Unfortunately, in the fall of 2009, Ivan Vladimirovich died due to a serious oncological disease.

In 2013, the public learned about Dykhovichnaya's new marriage. For some fans, this news came as a shock, as Olga openly admitted her non-traditional sexual orientation. She went to live in America and in New York she married the director Angelina Nikonova.

The actress met Nikonova on the set of the film "Portrait at Twilight" and since then the lovers have not parted.
